3D Secure (3-Domain Secure) - A protocol designed to enhance the security of online Transactions, particularly credit and debit Card Payments. It operates in three domains: the cardholder’s bank (issuer), the Merchant’s bank (acquirer), and the Merchant itself. The primary goal of 3D Secure is to authenticate the cardholder’s identity during online Transactions, thereby reducing the risk of fraud.API (Application Programming Interface) - ZEN.COM API. A set of rules and protocols that allows Merchant's application to communicate with ZEN.COM. Defines the methods and data structures that developers can use to interact with ZEN.COM Payment systemAuthorization fee - A cost associated with Payment processing that can be shifted from the Merchant to the purchasing Customer. It’s an option that allows for the distribution of Transaction costs between the Merchant and the Customer.AVS - (Address Verification Service) A solution offered by Visa and Mastercard. Its purpose is to verify whether the billing address and postal code provided by the cardholder during a Card transaction match the information associated with the card account in the issuing bank.Card - A payment Card issued under the VISA and Mastercard systems, authorized by the regulations of these systems to conduct Transactions without its physical presence.Cashback - A service offered to Customers using ZEN.COM Payment system which involves refunding a portion of the expenses incurred by the Customer for purchases in the form of a reverse transfer to the Customer's individual ZEN.COM account.CCS - (Currency Conversion Service) - A service that allows Customers to pay for purchases in their chosen currency, rather than in the currency of the country where the purchase is made.Checkout secret - An API key that allows for the creation and management of checkout sessions. It is used to initialize Payment sessions, authenticate requests to the Payment system, and ensure that the checkout session is authorized and secure.Customer - (Payer) A person making a payment in the Shop for the Merchant's services or products using the ZEN.COM Payment system.Credentials - Data used for authentication and authorization between Merchants and the ZEN.COM Payment System. Depending on the situation, this may include various elements such as login Credentials, API keys, tokens, certificates, and biometric data.IPN - (Instant Payment Notification) Immediate notification automatically sent from the Payment System to the Merchant's Shop, providing information about the change in Transaction status.IPN secret - A key used to secure communication between the Payment system and the Merchant's Store. The IPN secret is used to verify the message Signature, ensuring that it is authentic and has not been altered during transmission.Merchant - The entity receiving funds from the sale of products or services distributed by the Merchant in the Shop. Each Merchant can have one or multiple Shops configured under them. Each Shop can have one or multiple Terminals configured under it.Payment - The process of conducting financial Transactions between the Store and the Customer through the Payment System. It allows Customers to purchase goods or services from the Merchant using various Payment methods.Payment channel - A method or way through which financial Transactions are conducted between the Customer and the Merchant in their Store.Payment method - A collection of Payment channels.Payment system - A solution through which ZEN.COM provides the Merchant with the ability to process Customer payments made using Payment Channels, as well as verify the payment status and receive Payments.Payout - The actual disbursement of funds from the ZEN.COM sub-account to the IBAN specified by the Merchant for the services or sales completed by the Merchant.PBL - (Pay by Link) A service enabling Payments through an internal bank transfer from the Customer's account to the ZEN.COM account. All the information necessary for completing the transfer is automatically filled in thanks to the data exchange system between banks and ZEN.COM.PIS - (Payment Initiation Service) A service based on Directive (EU) 2015/2366 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 on payment services in the internal market, amending Directives 2002/65/EC, 2009/110/EC and 2013/36/EU and Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010, and repealing Directive 2007/64/EC (Text with EEA relevance), enabling Payments through an internal bank transfer from the Customer's account to the ZEN.COM account. All the information necessary for completing the transfer is automatically filled in thanks to the data exchange system between banks and ZEN.COM.Refund - The process of conducting financial Transactions between the Store and the Customer through the Payment System. It allows Merchant to refund the amounts paid by the Customer for goods or services returned by the Customer using various Payment methods by the Merchant.Signature - The parameter used for message authentication. Calculated based on the concatenation of fields. Signature is created based on the JSON prepared for the request, using one of SHA224/SHA256/SHA284/SHA512 algorithms. Only the values of the fields are concatenated, not the names of the parameters.Shop - a website or websites of the Merchant integrated with the Payment system, where the Customer can purchase products or services from the Merchant. Each Shop can have one or multiple Terminals configured under it.Terminal - A billing unit described by a unique number, which is used to identify the specific unit during the processing of Payment Transactions. All Transactions are handled at the Terminal levelTerminal API key - A unique key used for authorization and secure communication with the payment Terminal's API interface.Terminal UUID - (Terminal Universally Unique Identifier) A unique identifier assigned to the Terminal. It is used to uniquely identify the Terminal in the Payment System.Transaction - A Payment transaction as defined by the relevant regulations governing payment services or electronic money institutions.Widget - The iFrame functionality enables Card Payments for products/services offered by the Merchant, where Card details are entered by the Customer into a form embedded directly within the Merchant's Store. The Merchant does not have access to the Card information entered by the Customer.ZEN.COM - For payment services: refers to UAB ZEN.COM with its registered office at Lvivo g. 25-104, LT-09320, Vilnius, Lithuania, registered under the company number 304749651, licensed as an Electronic Money Institution by the Bank of Lithuania; for fraud prevention, chargeback representation, retrieval request representation, reconciliation, content website monitoring, mobile app maintenance, IT system maintenance services: refers to ZEN Technology B.V., with its registered office at Velperplein 23-25, Arnhem 6811 AH, Netherlands, incorporated under the registration number: 72383852
